It takes time for all of us to get out of that thinking. I don't believe in anything but sometimes I fall into that trap of trying to convince someone that I am right. The one thing that does hold us together is we all know that Wt. is a cult if not a cult their teachings are all wrong or whatever. An important difference between atheists and true believers
by Hortensia intrue believers, whether christian, muslim or whatever, want to convert you, they want you to believe what they do, and they're willing to go to extremes to make it happen.

my first public talk, given in my early 20s, was actually a twenty-minute part of a symposium talk.
my pioneer partner friend and i each had twenty minutes and a "servant" had the concluding part.

How did you find the truth about the truth (TTATT)

Dressed for Failure--drab colors in dress code

men are supposed to wear dirty colored suits--dark gray, muddy brown, black, and off-shades of maroon, forest green, and navy/midnight blue seem to be most common.
they get hounded if they wear something in a "loud" color--meaning anything that is near one of the major points in the rainbow and near saturation (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, or violet is most likely to result in a major hounding).

So the Wt. is saying that some in the early congregation was promoting apostate teachings. You mean they was not DF for doing that? They was allowed to openly talk about what they thought? Notice Paul was to reject such debates. Does not say anything about Dfing them out of the congregation. Oh I forgot the Wt. talks from both sides of their mouth. As far as dancing goes. Last Friday I brought home 6 Peepers

there are eggs in our future.

Thank you jgnat for the information. The peepers have grown quite a bit in the last few days. They are starting to eat through the bag of feed of I got them. About a cup a day. I am sure in the next few weeks that will increase. Oh what fun. Still Totally ADD

Foot under ground all the way up to the top of the 6 foot post. Then a netting over the top to keep out any other brids. Have not had chicken in 20 years. Looking forward to watching them grow up. The Still Totally ADD mini farm is growing. All what fun we are having. Still Totally ADD

Did You Ever Feel Guilty Because You Deserted The JW Religion?

i didn't miss their doctrines, their erroneous thinking.
i never felt guilty because i abandoned the religion i was raised in.. i believe the reason for my not feeling guilty is pretty simple.

I was told along time ago we are a don't give a damm about anything except going out and preaching about the Wt. No tea, or coffee for anyone. Just wear and tear on your car and what you wear. And this is all on your dime not thiers. Still Totally ADD
